1st October 2021 is the new date for Expo 2020 Dubai and will run until 31st March 2022. The question is will it be still called Expo 2020? LOL. Clearly it’s not a good time for any exhibition, postponing it will ensure a good number of foot walks.

The announcement came after considering all the factors on the world economy. The World Expos body approved the Expo 2020 Dubai delay as right and responsible decision. Delay will allow the participants to move around the world safely. In addition to this it will also help the scientist to develop and identify a solution to COVID-19.

What is Expo 2020 ?

Expo 2020 is a world expo to be hosted by Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Originally it was scheduled to be open on October 20,2020 till April 10, 2021. It has been postponed due to the ongoing pandemic.

This indeed is a great relief as UAE was expecting people from across the globe. Various pavilions are already being set up at the Expo 2020 site. The world in one place as more than 100 countries are participating in the expo. It will be full of excitement as not only it has pavilions, but live shows, entertainments and restaurants are also there.

The theme for expo 2020 is ” Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”. Undoubtedly it will contribute to hundreds and thousands of new innovations to make this world a better place. Earlier Expo theme was Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life, encompassing technology, innovation, culture, traditions and creativity, and how they relate to food and diet.
